(This post was a draft from before we went to New Orleans. Well my brithday weekend)
Sharni has been very unwell. (No not swine flu, well I don't think so!) A high fever but back to normal and the Nait/Sharni stiring has yet again begun.
Margaret & Hennie arrived on Friday after driving from LA. We took them on Saturday to a Crawfish Boil. Dene's work had put on a family BBQ and we took the 'whole' family. They had jumpy castles, bungy tramolines, fishing, lazy river, the list goes on.....
The food was lovely. Actually let me refraze. The meat was sensational. The Crawfish was ok. A little like our Yabbies/Gilgies/Kunaks cooked with potatoes and corn. I am not sure if they are salt water or fresh water. They were great but the Beef Brisket was sensational. The salads not were not for me, but I got my iron fix for the week.
Well that exhausted us all!! We got home and no one could get off the lounge. The next day we went to the outlet mall and got lost in the Bass Shop/ Dad's heaven/ fishing/ hunting/ boating larger than life shop. Then onto the Rainforest Cafe for my birthday dinner.
We are having flash flooding and tornado warnings.
